You will find these through your hwb accounts Instead of clicking onto to just to easy (j2e) Click onto Microsoft Office where you will find outlook Here you will find your login details Miss Wood Hi everyone,
I have received some messages that some of you are experiencing difficulties logging into Oxford Reading Buddy. I have spoken to Mr McComas who is the administrator of our account who is working on generating new passwords for me! Once I have the passwords I will email them to your child’s hwb accounts which they can access their emails through Microsoft office. This may take a bit of time as there are 30 of you to email individually so please bare with me. I have also updating the idoceo connects and extended the date on them for you to have a go at. Hwb I have shared some comprehension, reasoning and adding and subtraction activities on hwb to start off with too. I have also shared all ks2 spelling words with you via hwb so you can continue to practise and consolidate your learning with these. Spelling activities Put your spellings into sentences Rainbow writing with your spellings Shaving foam on a tray Play dough All sorts of ways you can practise your spellings I am going to post another blog now to show you how to access shared files on hwb and show you where to access activities on see-Saw Thanks Miss Wood Above are the numeracy skills for both year 2 and year 3 to achieve by the end of the year. On hwb I will post some examples of what you can do with the children to support them through these skills.
Twinkl is offering free subscriptions for parents - if you sign up you will be able to find lots of worksheets and activities that run alongside these skills. Hope you find this helpful. ☺️ Oxford reading buddy school code
.... fxtqn No capitals in the code ☺️ Hello everyone ☺️
Through the madness and chaos of this week - I appreciate this week has probably been absolute information overload. So I thought I’d take a minute to suggest a nice little project for you to undertake. At the moment our children are living through history. I thought a nice idea would be to create a time capsule. Include in the time capsule 1. A letter from their 7/8 year old self to their future self. Include how old they are, who they live with, who their best friends are, what they like to do, favourite sports, games, colours. Etc. 2. It is safe to get a newspaper. So cut up articles and include them in your time capsule for children to read back and look at it in years to come. 3. Draw a family picture of yourselves as your family is now. 4. Take some pictures of how you are now today and put them in your box. 5. Put it all in a scrap book/lunch box or box and put it away for years to come and reflect on what you and your children have lived through. Personally I thought it was a lovely idea and would love to see pictures of your boxes when you complete them. Miss Wood ☺️ X Parents & guardians
In light of the news of school closures, I will continue to update the blog regularly directing you to useful websites, updating room codes for iDoceo connect and anything other relevant information will be posted on here. In relation to iDoceo connect, I will regularly be posting new room codes for the children to access past paper tests. Once the children complete the tests I will be notified and I will see their results. Please feel free to use the comment section of the blog as a way of contacting me for any support and I will respond as quickly as possible. Daily dos Reading, spellings and times table practice are very important to practise as regularly as possible. Thanks in advance for any additional learning you do during this time. Again please feel free to comment below with any questions Miss Wood |
