Unfortunately the Barfi wasn`t quite ready by home time on Friday, so we have left it to set in the fridge over the weekend and look forward to tasting our sweets on Monday.
We had a fun day Friday celebrating Children in Need. We dressed up, collected donations, had a toast sale and made our own little Pudsey bears. Pudsey was very busy on Friday so he came to visit us on Thursday - we all had a great big Pudsey bear hug! Also on Friday, as part of our Divali celebrations we made Hindu sweets called Barfi. This was a great way for us to understand changes to materials and explore reversible and irreversible changes through cooking. This will help us with our science next week.
Unfortunately the Barfi wasn`t quite ready by home time on Friday, so we have left it to set in the fridge over the weekend and look forward to tasting our sweets on Monday.
