This week we went outside and chalked around our bodies. We then used what we had been learning to draw on important body parts and main organs. They looked great and helped us to remember key functions and parts.
Yesterday we found out about our blood. We found out how much blood is in our bodies and calculated how many bottles of juice would be the equivalent. (Thank you Mrs Fuge for letting us borrow the juice).
We then found out about red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. We looked at what they do to keep us healthy and the job of the plasma.
We modelled how our blood works to help us remember through practical games and activities.
William came back to Year 3 today to showcase his new talent. We all watched in amazement..... Well done William, come back and show us again soon, when you beat your time!
