Every Monday morning we are now really enjoying our outdoor learning sessions. Our first session we had to work as a team to build paper towers without speaking to each other. It was very tough! We also had to direct our friends around the yard using compass points and create our own routes. This was lots of fun 🤩 Hello everyone 😊
I would firstly like to wish you a Happy New Year and I hope you all Had a lovely and safe Christmas. Unfortunately, as we all know we will not be returning back to school as we wished tomorrow. Work will be uploaded via SeeSaw. Please see announcement on Seesaw for more information about the work that will be uploaded. Oxford Reading Buddy is essential to be used during this time for reading and sumdog will be used for spelling tests on Fridays. If you need to contact me at any point please do not hesitate to comment on here or on a note on SeeSaw or Hwb. Thanks for your ongoing support Miss Wood ☺️ We have had a very special last two weeks of term. We have taken part in lots of lovely activities to remember our lovely friend Demi and celebrate her birthday. The children in Year 3 have put together a news report to tell you all what we have been up to. They worked really hard and have done a fantastic job! Well done everyone! Please find attached our class newsletter for the term. If you need any more information, please do not hesitate to ask.
hi all,
My lovely little Year 2/3 pupils
I'm so proud I was your teacher, I've watched you learn and grow. We worked so hard and had such fun, How fast the time did go! Our year was interrupted, and it seemed too soon to part. Just know that you will always have a special place within my heart! :) Thank you all so much for making home-learning an enjoyable experience for me! A huge thank you for my beautiful gifts and card - I absolutely love them. You have been superstars and I feel so lucky to have taught you lovely lot even if our time got cut short! Stay safe and well over the holidays! Have lots of fun, you all deserve it. Miss Wood xx P.S - I will upload the class photo soon xx Morning Everyone! It is your last week in Year 2/3 - I can't believe it. I have absolutely loved being your teacher so thank you all for being amazing. It is such a shame our time together got cut short. Your tasks this week will be a bit different. ⚠️ ⚠️ THE IMPORTANT TASK ⚠️ ⚠️ As I posted the announcement on Seesaw last week asking for the final Bitmoji characters. I am still waiting for the final few. Therefore, the task is to get these people to get their Bitmoji characters done. This weeks tasks; 1. Play a game with your family 2. Read a book 3. Watch a film 4, Record a music video/youtube video and share it on see-saw 4. Do a chore/Help with a task around the house 5. Create a list of activities you want to do this summer 6. Do something fun outside and send a photo on seesaw 7. Exercise 8. Finish any uncompleted activities on see-saw - maybe one you wouldn't necessarily try. . There is an activity on Seesaw asking if you have any worries or questions about coming back to school or going into Year 3 or 4 will stay on there, so please don't hesitate to ask anything and I will do my best to answer. ⁉️ Lastly, thank you all so much for your amazing efforts during home schooling. All of you have been fantastic and it has made my job so enjoyable. Big thank you to all the parents/guardians for your efforts too. Anything you need please don't hesitate to contact me. Have a lovely week! Miss Wood xx Bore Da!
I hope you are all still enjoying the home learning. We had a fabulous week back in school last week with 6 of the boys from our class. They were fantastic! I am looking forward to seeing more of you today. I am sure we will have lots of fun! :) I have uploaded quite a bit of work this week. This is because Jack wanted to learn about The Vikings and Lillie wanted to learn about WWII. So I have given you options of what you would like to do.
